The Skinny
REAL OWLS COME TO PARLIAMENT SEPT. 29
September 17th, 2012Dear Members of Parliament,
If you give two hoots about owls then you don’t want to miss the two special guests we’re bringing into the store.
The Countdown Begins...
September 17th, 2012Two owls (yes, real live owls) from O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society will be swooping into Parliament 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Get a good peek at their cute little beaks and ask them questions (their handlers will probably be the ones to answer).
But that’s not owl, sorry, all.
That day we also launch our new fig vanilla Parliament candle ($12), and with every purchase of one we donate a portion of the proceeds to the organization. Plus, buy any owl-related items while the Strigiformes are in-store and we’ll give them a share of those sales too.
Now hoo’s coming?

Blanket Statement
September 17th, 2012
Someone famous at some point in history must have said “You can never have too many blankets.” If no one has, than we’re saying it now: you can never have too many blankets. We’ve got a bevy. Plaid ones, printed ones, yellow ones, blue ones, wool ones, cotton ones—they’re all cool ones for keeping cozy on chillier evenings.

SUMMER ESSENTIALS - PARTY
September 17th, 2012Dear Members of Parliament,

SUMMER ESSENTIALS - SLEEP
July 16th, 2012Dear Members of Parliament,
These longer days have meant shorter sleeps, so when you do get your six hours of beauty rest it’s best that the nest you nap on be beautiful. If it’s functional too, well, that’s a bonus. Here’s your summer essential for a good night’s sleep.
Lift, Lay and Hideaway
July 16th, 2012

The new locally-made Lift bed serves a dual purpose. Up top it gets you more than forty winks, below it’s nine inches deep and ready to stow things. As the name suggests, it hydraulically lifts to give you easy access to the secret things you keep under your bed. With a minimal headboard, it doesn't detract from any low-hanging art above your bed. It’s shown in Elkford Silver, but comes in scores of other colours and fabrics. A breeze to take care of, Lift just knows how to treat a small living space right.
Queen starting at $1,720 (Double and King also available)
